For hunters
How it works
No account, no membership, no waiting on a call center. Find the pilot who covers your county and get in the air.
- 01
Pick the county
Choose the state and county where the deer was hit. Pilots are listed by the counties they actually cover.
- 02
Review qualified pilots
Each listing shows FAA Part 107 status, insurance verification, thermal aircraft, years flying, and recovery experience.
- 03
Reach out or submit a request
Call or email a pilot directly, or send us the shot details and we'll pass them to pilots covering that county.
- 04
Fly the recovery
Your pilot coordinates a time, flies the thermal search, and guides you to the deer.
Before the pilot arrives
- Back out and stop pushing the deer as soon as the trail goes cold.
- Mark the shot site and last blood on your phone before dark.
- Note shot placement and time — it changes the search plan.
- Thermal works best after temperatures drop, usually well after sunset.
